In honor of International Women’s Day, we celebrate the dynamic women who have shaped the Community Foundation of Broward into a BOLD, innovative force for good. From our founding to today, inspiring women have always been at the helm of the Community Foundation of Broward.

Linda Carter elevated the Community Foundation to new heights during her more than two decades as Community Foundation President/CEO. Linda led the way to champion foster care reform, raise awareness of HIV/AIDS awareness and grow the Foundation’s assets from $20 million to more than $200 million. Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson took the helm as President/CEO in August 2020. Under Jennifer’s leadership, the Community Foundation has achieved record annual grantmaking ($14M+) , surpassed $200 million in the BE BOLD Leadership Campaign and launched collaborations to champion racial equity and LGBTQ+ support.
