Opportunities to Support Recovery
The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country | Kerr County Flood Relief Fund
The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, held at the Community Foundation serving the Texas Hill Country, is supporting both immediate and long-term recovery efforts for families and communities in Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort who were devastated by the July 4 floods. Funds will benefit vetted local nonprofits assisting individuals who have lost everything, as well as first responders and agencies leading relief and rebuilding work.

Central Texas Community Foundation| WILCO Cares Fund
In response to catastrophic flash flooding in Williamson County, the Central Texas Community Foundation established the WILCO Cares Fund to provide direct financial assistance to individuals and families in Liberty Hill, Leander, and Georgetown. While applications for support open early next week, donations are already helping address immediate needs and recovery efforts.
San Angelo Area Foundation | San Angelo Disaster Relief Fund
The San Angelo Disaster Relief Fund, managed by the San Angelo Area Foundation, is providing sustained, long-term assistance to residents of the Concho Valley after the devastating July 4 floods damaged over 1,000 homes. The Foundation is working with COAD partners to assess community needs using the iSTAT damage survey and the Foundation’s intake form to help deliver financial relief to those most impacted.

TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund
The TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund is raising funds for the ongoing and long-term response to the July 4 floods across Central Texas, with a focus on supporting search, rescue, recovery, and rebuilding efforts as requested by local officials in the hardest-hit communities.

- Kerrville Pets Alive is actively working to help pets that were separated from their owners during the flooding.
- Austin Pets Alive is helping reunite pets with families and needs volunteers, supplies and donations.
- SPCA of Texas is sheltering displaced animals from Kerrville, Williamson County and surrounding areas.
- World Central Kitchen has activated in Central Texas and is serving meals.
- TEXSAR, a nonprofit that works with emergency response, sending swiftwater rescue teams, search dogs, boats and drones to the Hill Country.
