Dear Friends,
Recent events show that we all must do more to ensure the rights of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” that America promised so long ago.
The Community Foundation of Broward condemns the racism and inequality in our country that cause so many people to live in hopelessness, frustration and fear. Our community, like so many others, is hurting. We support the right to be heard through peaceful protest. And we all have to do more than just empathize. We must work together to face injustice.
Together, we can create a vibrant community where everyone is welcome and has a real opportunity to succeed. Our community’s rich diversity should be a strength, not something that divides us. We are better together.
