A new collaboration between the Community Foundation of Broward and the City of Tamarac ensures permanent support for local initiatives that will improve the quality of life and shape a brighter future for Tamarac.
On May 28, the City Commission agreed to establish a dedicated endowment fund at the Community Foundation, which through the Foundation’s careful investment and stewardship will produce grants to support community projects in Tamarac for generations to come.
“It is our privilege to work with a visionary group of city leaders to establish a fund that will provide flexible resources to support important issues and community needs,” said Community Foundation President/CEO Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D. “We want to help ensure a vibrant future for such a dynamic and caring community.”
The Community Foundation is a trusted fiduciary with a more than 40-year track record of success safeguarding and growing philanthropic assets. The Foundation partners with individuals, families and organizations to help them be more strategic and impactful with their giving. We also collaborate with community leaders to establish permanent, sustainable philanthropic support dedicated to local municipalities.
