During 2024, the Community Foundation of Broward celebrated a fantastic finish to our BE BOLD Leadership Campaign, which over seven years raised $415 million in new gifts and planned gifts!

We launched this ambitious campaign to build endowment and grow philanthropic resources to tackle our fast-growing community’s needs for generations to come. Philanthropists joined the “BE BOLD” movement by adding to or creating charitable funds at the Foundation, or by committing to estate gifts that will fuel endowed support for the community they love.

We are overwhelmed by the success of the campaign, which has helped us grow to 571 charitable funds, add more than 50 planned gifts and reach 60 Community Builders – visionaries who partner with us to create endowed funds of $1 million or more.

These BOLD investments in Broward’s future will generate millions in grantmaking support each year for education, the arts, economic mobility, social justice, the environment, seniors in need and much more.
