The Community Foundation of Broward recently had the privilege of hosting more than 60 leaders of community foundations from across the country for the CEONet 2026 Annual Retreat.
CEONet is a national network of community foundation CEOs who help each other do their job. The organization facilitates useful learning opportunities from peer CEOs and from issue and organizational changemakers.
This year's retreat, from March 25-27, focused on "Navigating Changing Times." Sessions featured discussions about redefining growth, rethinking relationships and positioning community foundations for future leadership. Community Foundation of Broward President/CEO Jennifer O'Flannery Anderson and Board Chair Jonathan Allen helped lead a panel discussion about collaborating with local governments.
“Hosting CEONet’s annual retreat was a wonderful opportunity to connect with dynamic, talented leaders of community foundations from across the country, and show off all Broward has to offer,” Jennifer said. “We discussed common challenges and shared ideas for best practices to consider. Seeing how the power of philanthropy is thriving through community foundations across the country gives me hope and excitement for the future.”
Thank you to everyone who attended!
