The Community Foundation of Broward launched the Broward Center for Nonprofit Excellence in 2022 to create a go-to resource for strengthening nonprofits that help residents throughout our community.

An early $5 million matching grant commitment from the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation jump-started fundraising and helped launch Nonprofit Center operations. Thanks to the visionary support from all of our Founding Donors, the Nonprofit Center today provides training and other tools that amplify nonprofits’ critical community impact.

In addition, we have established an endowment to ensure permanent, sustainable support for the Nonprofit Center. It’s all made possible by partnerships with philanthropists committed to championing the vital work of Broward’s nonprofits.
