What We Are Looking for

We are looking to enhance animal programs that strategically reduce overpopulation, increase adoptions, create healthy environments and eliminate animal suffering. The Foundation seeks to support organizations that ensure humane and sustainable solutions, which have the potential to end animals suffering from deprivation, abuse, neglect and maltreatment. Think outside the box and submit your best and most creative proposal that will demonstrate measurable outcomes in one or more of the following areas:

  • Increase the number of animals that are spay/neutered.
  • Increase the number of animals living safely after finding a forever home through adoption.
  • Provide animals in need with medical treatments, rehabilitation and save environments.

Application Information

To meet the needs of the community during the coronavirus crisis, the Community Foundation of Broward may change our usual grantmaking process to get resources where they are needed the most as quickly as possible. As a result:

  1. Grant application guidelines and deadlines may be changed. Check this webpage for future grant application opportunities.
  2. Grants may be renewed or awarded based on pressing community needs, without an RFP process.
  3. Grant application to fill targeted gaps in community services may be offered by invitation only, via email invitations.
