Join the 57 local nonprofits that have graduated from the Academy and improved board effectiveness through participation in the highly acclaimed Boards In Action! Leadership Academy.

Learn ways to:
  • Empower your board to be more strategic.
  • Develop plans that allow you to weather the tough times.
  • Strengthen the communication and relationship between the board and CEO.
  • Promote strategies to involve your board in fundraising.

This program includes:
  • Participation in innovative, interactive trainings from nationally recognized board governance facilitator Chuck Loring, senior governance consultant with BoardSource.
  • Up to 20 hours of individualized coaching with leading experts. Creation of a custom board action plan for continuous growth.
  • Eligibility for a $10,000 Capacity Building grant from the Community Foundation of Broward.
