Ways for Your Clients to Give Tomorrow

Your clients can make charitable provisions to Start a Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward at a later time.  Gifts that you help them plan now, including gifts from their estate, can be used to establish or add to a Fund later.

Bequest:

A provision you help establish in their will or trust is perhaps the simplest way to help them create their legacy.  This allows them to leave a meaningful charitable gift after they are gone, and assets are no longer needed.

Your clients can care for someone close to them, then direct the remainder, a percentage, or even a specific item or dollar amount, to the Community Foundation of Broward to fulfill their charitable wishes.  We will help you preserve their family name and forever connect them to the causes they care about.

Charitable Remainder Trust:

This allows your client to receive income or to provide it to others for a period of years.  After that, what remains in the trust establishes their personal, charitable Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward.

Charitable Lead Trust:

This allows your client to first make annual payments to start and build their charitable Fund to support causes that matter to them.  At the end of the established period of time, the remainder is distributed to their beneficiaries.

Charitable Gift Annuity:

An excellent option that works much like a charitable remainder trust, allows your clients to receive income for life, often at a much higher rate than CDs or stock dividends.  After that, what remains of the annuity establishes their personal, charitable Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward.
