He highlighted some $350 million in community programs that will move forward despite total budget cuts of $6 billion. Legacy Society Luncheon March 13, 2008

Linda Carter, President/CEO
and Jack Deinhardt, Founder
On March 13, 2008, we honored the more than 100 members of our Legacy Society with a luncheon at the Design Center for the Americas. The Legacy Society is comprised of thoughtful individuals who have designated an estate gift to the Community Foundation. Collectively, their future gifts total more than $120 million that will benefit all of Broward County.
Thanks to the generosity of Miss Mary N. Porter, this year’s luncheon sponsor, friends of the Foundation enjoyed a champagne reception and were treated to lunch and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at PBS’s top-rated series, Antiques Roadshow.
