BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Nov. 18, 2016) – Community Foundation of Broward, Jewish Community Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Broward County, and United Way of Broward County joined forces on Nov. 10, 2016 to provide in-depth best practices to more than 650 estate and trust services professionals. Specifically, the organizations hosted the 15th Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar and Breakfast designed to make available a vital educational forum for attorneys, certified public accountants, investment consultants, financial advisors and business professionals throughout Broward.

“We are thrilled to be hosting this educational forum once again with the Jewish Community Foundation and the United Way of Broward County to provide the latest best practices in tax and estate planning to hundreds of professionals across our community,” said Linda Carter, president and CEO of the Community Foundation of Broward. “This event connects professionals with field experts and promotes philanthropic investment in Broward.”

“United Way of Broward County is proud to co-host these informative seminars promoting philanthropy for estate and trust service professionals with our partners the Community Foundation of Broward and Jewish Community Foundation,” said Kathleen Cannon, president and CEO of United Way of Broward County. “In addition, our three organizations collaborate year round to ensure the needs of all our Broward County neighbors met.”

“The three leading nonprofit charities in Broward County come together to provide our financial colleagues the highest level of continuing education,” said Michael Balaban, president and CEO, Jewish Federation of Broward County. “It is a moment of pride to share this together and reinforce relationships that strengthen communal bonds. Together we will be stronger for our community and address its needs for generations to come. On behalf of our Board of Directors, I thank the United Way of Broward County and Community Foundation of Broward.”
