Margarita is the Education Relations Manager for AT&T. Prior to that, Margarita served as Cabinet Aide to the State Treasurer, handling environmental and education matters. She has served on the staff of Senator Lawton Chiles.  Margarita is also immediate past president of the Broward Education Foundation, serves on FAU President’s Advisory Council, McFatter Technical Center’s Advisory Committee, and mentors girls at Monarch High School as part of the Women of Tomorrow Mentoring Initiative.  She is an active member of the Broward Alliance.
